These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of saudichalets.com (the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm you have authority to bind them.
1) Definitions
“SaudiChalets,” “we,” “us,” “our”: the Platform operator.
“Guest,” “you”: a user who browses, requests, or makes a booking.
“Owner,” “Host”: a user who lists and offers a Property.
“Property”: any accommodation listed by an Owner.
“Booking”: a reservation request and/or confirmed reservation via the Platform.
“Content”: listings, photos, descriptions, reviews, messages, and other materials.
2) What SaudiChalets Is (and Is Not)
SaudiChalets is a technology platform that connects Guests and Owners.
We do not own, manage, operate, control, or inspect Properties (unless explicitly stated).
We are not a hotel operator, travel agency, tour operator, broker, insurer, or property manager.
Owners are independent. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, agency, or a joint venture between SaudiChalets and any Owner.
Booking contract: Any confirmed Booking is a direct agreement between the Guest and the Owner. SaudiChalets is not a party to that agreement.
3) Eligibility, Accounts, and Security
You must be 18+ (or the legal age of capacity in Saudi Arabia) to create an account and make bookings.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, abuse, illegal activity, or violations of these Terms.
4) Platform Use Rules
You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
You agree not to impersonate others or provide false information.
You agree not to harass, threaten, or discriminate.
You agree not to bypass the Platform in a way that harms other users or the Platform.
You agree not to upload malware, scrape, attack, or interfere with Platform security.
5) Listings (Owners) – Minimal Responsibilities
Owners control how they operate. Each Owner agrees that they:
1) have the authority to list the Property and accept bookings;
2) provide reasonably accurate listing details (price, photos, capacity, rules, availability, amenities);
3) are solely responsible for the Property’s condition, safety, legality, and services;
4) are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws, permits, and licensing requirements related to their accommodation activity;
5) communicate material issues affecting a confirmed booking promptly.
SaudiChalets may remove/hide listings that appear misleading, illegal, abusive, or unsafe, at our discretion.
6) Owner “Be True to Your Word” Commitment
To maintain trust while keeping Owners independent, Owners must honor what they advertise and what Guests see at checkout/confirmation:
• Policy integrity: cancellation/refund/deposit/house rules shown at booking time must be applied as shown.
• “Free cancellation” means free: if an Owner advertises free cancellation for a period or conditions, the Owner must honor it as stated.
• No bait-and-switch: no changing the price/policy after confirmation except where the Guest clearly agrees in writing (including in-Platform messages).
• Owner cancellations: if an Owner cancels a confirmed booking, the Owner is responsible for any refund obligations under their stated policy and applicable mandatory rules.
SaudiChalets may take platform actions for repeated or severe breaches (warnings, ranking reduction, suspension, removal), at our discretion.
7) Booking Flow and Confirmation
A booking may be “Requested” until accepted/confirmed (if Owner confirmation applies).
No booking is confirmed until the Platform shows it as Confirmed/Accepted (or similar).
SaudiChalets does not guarantee that a request will be accepted, that availability is accurate, or that a stay will occur.
8) Prices, Fees, Payments, and Receipts
Prices are set by Owners unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any Platform service fee (if applicable) will be shown before you pay.
If the Platform facilitates payments, processing may be handled by third-party providers. SaudiChalets is not responsible for third-party outages, authorization failures, chargebacks, bank delays, or provider errors.
If applicable, we may issue receipts/invoices and keep transaction records for compliance and dispute handling.
9) Cancellations, Refunds, No-Shows, and Changes
Refunds and cancellations depend on the Owner’s policy shown at booking time and any mandatory legal protections that apply.
Guests are responsible for reading listing rules and policies before booking.
SaudiChalets may provide communication tools and booking records (timestamps, confirmations, receipts), but is not obligated to resolve every dispute.
10) Guest–Owner Disputes
Disputes about the stay are primarily between Guest and Owner, including:
• property condition, safety, cleanliness, misrepresentation;
• check-in/access issues, utilities, amenities;
• cancellations/refunds, deposits, damages, injuries, theft, or misconduct.
SaudiChalets may (but is not required to) help facilitate communication and may take platform actions based on evidence available to us.
11) Reviews and User Content
Users may post content and reviews.
You grant SaudiChalets a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display Content for operating and marketing the Platform.
We may remove Content that is illegal, abusive, misleading, or violates these Terms.
12) Intellectual Property
The Platform, design, logos, and software are owned by SaudiChalets or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit the Platform except as permitted by law or with written permission.
13) Privacy
Personal data is processed under our Privacy Policy.
You agree we may share necessary booking details between Guests and Owners to enable the booking and support.
14) Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
SaudiChalets does not guarantee listing accuracy or availability, Owner acceptance, Property quality/safety/legality, user conduct, or that a stay will occur without issues.
15) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaudiChalets will not be liable for Guest–Owner disputes, failure of a booking to occur, property conditions, injuries, accidents, theft, damages, or misconduct.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/revenue/business.
Liability cap: If SaudiChalets is found liable despite the above, our total liability will not exceed the Platform fees actually paid to SaudiChalets for the booking that gave rise to the claim (or SAR 100, whichever is higher), unless a higher amount is required by mandatory law.
16) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold SaudiChalets harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your interactions with other users, and your listing/booking/stay/property operations.
17) Suspension and Termination
We may suspend/terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused the Platform, or created risk for users or SaudiChalets.
18) Electronic Communications
You consent to receive communications electronically (email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-Platform messages), including confirmations, receipts, and service notices.
19) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and update the “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
